CBD FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
What is CBD?
The word CBD is simply short for cannabidiol. It’s a non-psychoactive chemical compound that’s found in the cannabis plant, and contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t make you high!
Good CBD products are becoming more and more popular in the UK and the rest of the world, as they can be taken in a variety of ways including CBD oil, CBD capsules, CBD gummies and edibles.
You can also vape CBD or use it on your skin with high quality specially formulated CBD skin and face products – ALL available here at your “One Stop CBD Shop UK”.
Why is CBD good for you?
After extensive testing, Experts believe that good CBD oil can work in many different ways to help with insomnia, anxiety, depression, pain, inflammation and has so many other individual health benefits.
To achieve the full benefits of CBD, the recommended dose should be taken daily at the right time.
CBD oil taken regularly can also help boost your general immune system and give you many hours of restful sleep.
What’s the best way to take CBD?
CBD can be taken in different ways depending on individual likes and needs.
CBD gummies, CBD edibles and CBD drinks are becoming very popular as they can be taken “on the go” and enjoyed like their counterpart edibles and drinks.
CBD oil can be dropped under the tongue at the indicated dose, the same as with CBD spray. CBD capsules can be swallowed with a drink like any other pill, avoiding the need to chew or taste, and they’re easier at taking the right dose.
CBD skincare products are usually applied topically with CBD creams and moisturisers, CBD beauty products and CBD cosmetics.
Should I vape CBD or take it orally?
If you like to feel the effect of CBD very quickly, then vaping it may be the way to go. Based on scientific evidence suggesting that the body can absorb CBD more rapidly than when ingested, many people prefer it over CBD edibles.
Vaping CBD introduces it directly into your bloodstream through your lungs, rather than having to digest it through your stomach, which is a longer process. On the other hand, taking CBD orally can have a more regulated and longer lasting effect.
What’s the recommended daily amount of CBD?
To be on the safe side, it is recommended for a healthy adult to take up to 70mgs of CBD per day, unless instructed by a doctor. This can be for example, 14 drops of CBD oil at 10% or 7 CBD gummies at 20%, the choice is yours. You may want to extend it throughout the day if you’re taking it to relieve pain, or take it only once a day before going to sleep if that’s what you need it for.
Is there THC in CBD?
CBD and THC are both active compounds found in the canabis plant. THC is known for its psychoactive and intoxicating properties, where as CBD is mainly used for its health benefits.
CBD is legal in the UK as long as it contains less than 0.2% THC. Our CBD shop UK only sells laboratory tested legal products with 0% to 0.2% THC. The THC amont will be shown on each item’s description.
Is it true that CBD can help lose weight?
CBD is only able to help with weight loss because of its unique ability to lower your appetite, reduce all round inflammation, improve hormone balance, alleviate underlying blood sugar imbalance, and regulate your mitochondrial function.
CBD will not help you lose weight on its own, but it can when combined with other lifestyle improvements like diet and exercise.
Full Spectrum vs. Broad Spectrum vs. CBD Isolate
Full-spectrum CBD includes all components of the cannabis plant, including terpenes, flavonoids, and up to 0.2 percent THC as recommended by Law.
Broad-spectrum CBD includes most components of the cannabis plant with the exception of THC.
CBD isolate, also known as pure CBD, has had all other cannabis components removed.
What are the Benefits of CBD Oil?
CBD Oil is a good source of pain relief when used regularly. The advantage of CBD Oil over other CBD products is that it’s absorbed more rapidly through the bloodstreams for faster relief. It can help manage your heart rate, improve sleep, reduce stress and anxiety, and deal with inflammation among other things. Cbd Oil can also be used to give you better focus and a higher sense of awareness, while keeping you relaxed and feeling calm with a great sense of well being.

What is The Entourage Effect Theory?
The Entourage Effect Theory suggests that all the compounds in cannabis work more effectively when taken together, they produce better results than when taken alone. This is due to an interaction between phytocannabinoids and terpenes called “The Entourage Effect.”
